DEATH OF A GENTLEMAN

WINNER ‘BEST DOCUMENTARY ’ AT THE 2016 SPORTS JOURNALISM AWARDS

'One of the most important documentaries I have seen' – The Telegraph

'Call it idealistic, but it's right' – The Guardian

'Compelling and urgent. A story of global power' – The Evening Standard

In 2015 I produced and co-directed the award-winning independent feature documentary ‘Death of a Gentleman’ – about how corruption in the administration of cricket threatens the game’s survival – with my colleagues Jarrod Kimber and Johnny Blank. Thanks to our brilliant production team, and the investment and help of cricket fans around the world the film grew to play in UK cinemas, UK Parliament, win a prestigious award for journalism, and was sold to Netflix worldwide. The ‘Change Cricket’ campaign we ran alongside the film’s release was designed to stand up against injustice and corruption, and gathered worldwide press attention while helping to change policy at the International Cricket Council. The film is currently available to view on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
